Ice rink lighting in Rauma
Tuki-Arena was opened in December 2012 in Rauma, Finland. It serves especially the local youth offering good training facilities for ice hockey and ice skating. The Arena has a small and a large ice rink.
Energy efficiency was a major objective in planning and building the hall. Energy efficient and maintenance free Easy LED PRO 500 luminaires were chosen as the lighting solution for the training rinks. High quality LED light improves the visibility on the ice and at the same time reduces the heat load in the hall.
PRO 500 Oslon 120 - 320 mA
Total energy consumption per lighting fixture: 122 W
Total energy consumpion for the whole area per year: 19.520 W
1-10 V dimming control was installed in the larger hall. This will further lower the energy consumption and annual operating costs. Lights can be seamlessly adjusted all the way down to 27 W total energy consumption (per luminaire).
